Celebrations come to an end with Anniversary Ball Friday 27th October saw the 60th Anniversary Ball bring Halkirk's Anniversary year celebrations to a close. In the Weigh Inn, Thurso, nearly 150 were present to mark this special year for the club. The anniversary cake was cut by the club's first treasurer, Mrs Christine More and current secretary, Carol-Ann Budge. Following the meal, club chairman of 1975-76, Mr George Dunnett, proposed a toast and came a witty and humorous after dinner speech. A dance to Whisky followed which everyone seemed to enjoy. If you missed it, you missed out!! A selection of picture from the evening are shown below, thanks goes to Isobel Swanson and Liz Hewitson for capturing the moment:-
